    Located on the Isla Grande in Tierra del Fuego, Wuijoor Lodge is situated 60km southwest of the city of Rio Grande, Argentina, within the grounds of the Estancia Laura. Wuijoor Lodge, was founded in 2023 utilising a remodelled ranch house built in the 1930’s, and caters for up to six anglers with first class dining.

    Fishing is primarily on the fabled Menendez River with other steppe streams accessible in this remote destination.

    Expect to fish for sea-run Brown Trout up to 12kg (26lb) and resident Brown and Rainbow Trout up to 2kg (4.5lb).

JOIN US IN 2025 ON OUR EXCLUSIVE HOSTED TRIPS

We are organising our busiest year of hosted freshwater and saltwater trips ever with eight hosted trips scheduled.

Each hosted adventure is only available for up to six lucky anglers. Some require advanced fitness so feel free to discuss what destinations might best suit your level of comfort.

We organise all domestic travel, accommodation, meals, snacks and beverages (we’re open to stocking your favorite tipple).

Isolation Outfitters works with premium angling brands to provide your fishing gear for these hosted trips. You’re welcome to test out rods, reels and the top lines from around the globe.

Our freshwater hosted trip all focus on large trout at some very special destinations. We fly into Fiordland and an undisclosed remote river in New Zealand (two multiday heli-fishing trips), as well as week-long adventures at Lago Strobel (Jurassic Lake) in Argentina, and Tierra del Fuego in Chilean Patagonia to fish exclusive water on the upper Rio Grande.

For saltwater angling aficionados, we’re chasing bonefish for a week on Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, on remote Fanning Island and we’re headed to Mexico, where you’ll have a great chance at a Grand Slam in either Xcalak, Mahahaul, or further north in Punta Herrero on the Yucatan Peninsula.
